About Roffa
We don't believe in departments that work in isolation.
When you're buying, selling, renovating a property or dealing with a legal real estate matter, you often need several specialists. A purchase may raise legal questions. A renovation can affect the value of a property. A sale may depend on a legalisation procedure or a correction in the Land Registry.
That's why we work as one team.
Real estate, legal services, renovations, administration, marketing and client support strengthen each other every day.
Every colleague brings their own knowledge and experience, but together we all work towards the same goal:
helping our clients make confident decisions about their property in Spain.
Daniel & Paula
Founders of Roffa Soluciones
Roffa began with Daniel and Paula, two people from Rotterdam who eventually found their home in Andalusia.
Although they lead the company together, they have very different backgrounds and strengths.
Daniel is the practical one. With experience as a carpenter, pipefitter, plumber, electrician and contractor, he feels most at home when turning plans into reality. He also has extensive experience as a conflict mediator and coach, working with municipalities, neighbourhood associations and private clients. He brings structure, calm and a practical approach to every challenge.
Paula is constantly looking ahead. With a legal background, years of entrepreneurial experience and a strong interest in real estate, taxation and finance, she is often the first to recognise new opportunities. While Daniel asks how something should be done, Paula is usually wondering why it doesn't already exist.
Together they combine strategy with execution.
Besides their professional experience, they have experienced Spain from many different perspectives. They have lived in small mountain villages, rural cortijos, residential developments with communal facilities, detached villas with swimming pools and in the historic centre of a coastal town. As a result, they understand that every property, every location and every stage of life comes with different needs.
For them, buying, selling, renovating and solving property-related issues is more than just work. Sometimes it feels like a hobby as well.
Adrian
Office manager
There's a good chance you'll speak with Adrian sooner or later.
Originally trained as a chef, Adrian also studied photography and spent many years managing hospitality businesses. Born and raised in Granada, he later lived in Iceland for several years, giving him the ability to communicate effortlessly with people from many different cultures and backgrounds.
At Roffa, Adrian makes sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. For many sellers, he is the first point of contact. For many buyers, he is one of the last people they meet, as he regularly accompanies clients to the notary and ensures that every purchase is completed correctly from an administrative perspective.
He also plays an important role in presenting our properties and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the office.
Anneke
Client Support
Buying a property in Spain involves a great deal of information, important decisions and sometimes uncertainty.
Anneke helps our clients stay on top of it all.
After a long career in education, she knows better than anyone how important clear communication is. Not because our clients are students, but because people sometimes simply need someone who explains things calmly, answers questions and ensures everyone has the same information.
Anneke mainly supports our buyers but is also involved in renovation and sales projects.
She lives on a cortijo about thirty minutes from the coast and therefore understands both the benefits and the challenges of rural living.
José Manuel
Sales Agent
Manuel is our Spanish-speaking estate agent.
While some agents wait for properties to come onto the market, Manuel usually already knows what's happening.
He knows the region, its residents and the stories behind many of the properties. Much of his work takes place outside the office, in the villages and neighbourhoods where he is in daily contact with homeowners and local residents. As a result, we often hear about new opportunities and developments long before they reach the market.
For Spanish sellers, Manuel is often the familiar face of Roffa.
Wijnand aka Nando
Project Support
When a renovation project runs smoothly, there's a good chance Wijnand played a part in it. He ensures our construction teams have the right materials, assists with purchasing and helps find practical solutions whenever projects become more complex.
Within the team, he is known as our DIY expert, problem solver and in-house philosopher.
Alongside his work for Roffa, he is involved in a vineyard in Las Alpujarras and an artist residency in Polopos.
His knowledge of the region and experience with rural projects give him a unique understanding of life and business in inland Andalusia.
Herman
Carpenter & Plumber
Herman is our technical specialist.
Born and raised in the Netherlands before spending many years on Bonaire, he brought a wealth of technical experience to Spain.
Within our renovation projects, he is responsible for carpentry, plumbing and a wide variety of technical work.
He is known for his practical mindset, technical expertise and his ability to find solutions where others mainly see problems.
Peter
All-Round Craftsman
Peter is our long-standing self-employed collaboration partner. Although he has been part of the team for many years, he has consciously chosen to remain independent.
Originally from Hungary and now completely at home on the Costa Tropical, he supports our renovation projects as an all-round craftsman. He is also currently completing his electrical certification, enabling him to certify electrical installations independently in the future.
Outside work, Peter has another passion. Together with a group of volunteers, he dedicates much of his free time to caring for the street cats of Salobreña. It's not unusual to see him after work with traps, kittens or transport carriers on his way to a veterinary clinic or rescue organisation.
Manolo
Painter
Manolo is a true Salobreñero. Born and raised in Salobreña, he knows the region inside out.
Within our renovation team, he is responsible for painting and finishing work. No project is too large and no detail too small. He works meticulously, thinks ahead and ensures the right materials are used under the right conditions before work begins. According to Manolo, an excellent finish always starts with excellent preparation.
Outside work, he enjoys spending time with his family or fishing from the beach.
Begoña
Lawyer
Together with Paula, Begoña forms the legal heart of Roffa. She is a registered lawyer with the Granada Bar Association and advises clients on a wide range of legal matters, including real estate, inheritances, residency procedures and other international cases. She has extensive experience assisting international clients and understands their specific questions and expectations.
Her greatest strength is her practical approach. Rather than focusing on why something cannot be done, she looks for the best possible solution.
Fransisco
Accounting & Administration
Francisco makes sure everything adds up. After studying Commercial Economics, he worked in Málaga before spending almost eight years living in the Netherlands. There he worked, among other positions, in DHL's customs department, where he gained extensive experience with administrative processes, regulations and international documentation.
Within Roffa, Francisco supports our internal accounting and administration. He also assists clients with tax returns and other administrative obligations related to property transactions whenever needed.
Today, he divides his time between Spain and Peru.
Bastiaan
Marketing & social media
Since 2025, Bastiaan has been responsible for much of Roffa's marketing and social media.
He divides his time between the Netherlands and the Costa Tropical, giving him a strong understanding of both markets. In the Netherlands he works as an event organiser for a wide variety of clients. In Spain he is involved in the marketing of one of the Costa Tropical's best-known hospitality businesses while also supporting our team.
Bastiaan brings creativity, energy and a fresh perspective. He sees opportunities where others overlook them and knows exactly how to translate a story into powerful visuals and engaging social media content. He also provides plenty of humour within the team.
Working Without Language Barriers
Our clients come from many different countries and backgrounds. Together, our team speaks Dutch, Spanish, English, German, Icelandic and Hungarian, allowing us to assist many international clients in the language they feel most comfortable using.
Stronger Together
Behind every purchase, sale, renovation or legal property matter stands a team of people with different backgrounds, qualifications and experiences.
It is precisely this combination that enables us to look beyond a single aspect of a case and find solutions that genuinely work in practice.
